Most patients describe the injections as quick pinches. A fine needle is used, and the treatment itself is usually brief. Ask your provider about ice or another comfort option if you feel nervous.
Botox at InjectCo starts at $12 per unit. Members may qualify for a lower per-unit rate. Your total depends on the treatment areas and recommended units.
At $12 per unit, $400 covers about 33 units. The areas that can be treated with that amount depend on your muscle strength and the provider’s recommendation.
At $12 per unit, $600 covers 50 units. That may treat several areas for some patients. Compare Botox prices by the number of units included rather than the total alone.
Frown lines may use around 20 units, the forehead may use 10 to 20 units, and crow’s feet may use 12 to 24 units for both sides. A three-area plan may require 40 to 60 units. Your provider confirms the amount after assessing your movement.
The goal is to soften excessive movement while keeping your face recognizable. Tell your provider how much expression you want to preserve so the unit plan reflects your preference.
Downtime is minimal for most patients. You can usually return to normal daily activities, but follow your provider’s instructions about exercise, heat, rubbing the area, and other treatments.
Botox commonly lasts three to four months. Movement returns gradually, and the timing varies based on the treatment area, unit count, muscle strength, and individual response.
Come with a clean face when possible, and bring a list of medications, supplements, allergies, and previous injectable treatments. Do not stop a prescribed medication unless the clinician who prescribed it tells you to do so.
